Justin is a Certified Information Technology Professional through the AICPA. CPA/CITPs are recognized for their technology expertise and unique ability to bridge the gap between business and technology. Unlike other certifications that recognize a narrow scope of skills, the CITP Credential recognizes technical expertise across the broad business areas of financial management and Information Technology (IT.) Justin has over 10 years experience in the IT field including working as a subcontractor for a national top tier software and hardware manufacturer. This experience allows him to build systems, troubleshoot software and hardware, and repair business information systems. His experience as a CPA allows him to approach IT from a business standpoint that views IT as useful only when business is improved or supported. This approach allows for system designs that are centered on business strategies. Justin approaches auditing a system from the “Parkerian Hexad” approach which looks at confidentiality, possession or control, integrity, authenticity, availability, and utility of data for a more thorough result that ensures compliance with all IT and Privacy Protection standards. You will benefit from this experience whether you are looking at buying a new computer, need a recommendation for software, need troubleshooting or training, or need an IT audit.
